1. Terms of website use
www.knightsbridge-village.com, the “Website”, is a site operated by Knightsbridge Village Limited.
1.1 Definition of Terms
Knightsbridge Village or “We” means Knightsbridge Village Limited. We are a COMPANY registered in England and Wales, Company number 08565384. Our registered office is 43 Berkeley Square, Mayfair, London W1J 5FJ.
Member means any member of Knightsbridge Village or any person or persons intending to or who have applied for membership of Knightsbridge Village upon the terms and conditions contained herein.
Membership means a Member’s membership of Knightsbridge Village.
Membership Year means the 12-month period the membership of Knightsbridge Village shall run for from the date a Member becomes a member of Knightsbridge Village.
Renewal Date means the date on which a Membership Year comes to an end and Membership becomes due for renewal.
The Café means the Members’ discussion forum on the Website.
Members’ Area means section(s) of the Website with access restricted to Members only.
2. Reliance On Information Posted and Disclaimer
The materials contained on our site are provided for general information purposes only and do not claim to be or constitute legal or other professional advice and shall not be relied upon as such.
We do not accept any responsibility for any loss which may arise from accessing or reliance on the information on this site and to the fullest extent permitted by English law, we exclude all liability for loss or damages direct or indirect arising from use of this site. Unless otherwise specified, all writers and contributors are independent of Knightsbridge Village and are neither employees nor officers of Knightsbridge Village. The views expressed by all writers and contributors are not necessarily the views of Knightsbridge Village.
Members and other users of the website wishing to purchase items from, or use services listed in, The Shop, Concierge, LOVES or Reviews do so at their own risk with no recourse to Knightsbridge Village.
3. MEMBERSHIP TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The annual Membership fee for individual membership is £120 per annum payable in advance which may, at our discretion, be due in monthly instalments of £10 or discounted and will be charged directly to your chosen credit card or Paypal account. Membership fees are revised annually on 1st October and if there are any changes in the rate, shall be notified to Members by email and for existing members come into effect from your next Renewal Date. Current Membership rates shall be available for review on the Website.
3.2 Joining procedures
3.2.1 Membership of Knightsbridge Village is by invitation, either from an existing member or Knightsbridge Village. We reserve the right at all times and in its absolute discretion to determine the number of Members in Knightsbridge Village and may accept or reject applications for Membership as we feel fit.
3.2.2 All applications for Membership of Knightsbridge Village are to be made via the Website application form. By submitting the application form online, the Member is deemed to have signed the application form and agreed to the Terms and Conditions as set out herein.
3.2.3 On completion of an application form and acceptance as a Member, each new Member will receive a welcome letter, which shall contain a membership card, with a membership number, posted to the address stated on the application form.
3.2.4 On acceptance of the Membership application by Knightsbridge Village Members shall be bound during the continuance of Membership by these Terms and Conditions including any amendments made in accordance with the procedure set out in paragraph 11.
3.3 Members Area
Members may participate and/or use information found on the Website subject to the following clauses:
3.3.1 The Knightsbridge Village discussion forum is a public system and as such Knightsbridge Village takes no responsibility for the views expressed in messages posted to any discussion therein. Any views expressed are those of individuals, and do not necessarily reflect the views or policies of Knightsbridge Village.
3.3.2 We do not verify, confirm or accept any responsibility for any of the information, advice or material provided on the Knightsbridge Village discussion forum. If any Member uses any of the information, advice or material posted on these forums, that Member does so solely at his or her own risk.
3.3.3 We accept no obligation to monitor the use of the discussion forum but reserve the right to remove without notice any material posted to any discussion forum which Knightsbridge Village deems to be offensive or in any way wholly inappropriate to the nature of the discussion.
3.3.4 Members agree not to, inter alia:
3.3.5 post any material which infringes third party intellectual property rights;
3.3.6 post any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive or otherwise objectionable on any discussion forum on the Website;
3.3.7 unless expressly permitted in writing by the Directors of Knightsbridge Village, use the discussion forum to advertise or promote commercial organisations that you personally own or are an employee of;
3.3.8 use the discussion forum to operate surveys, contests, chain letters or make complaints against individuals and/or organisations;
3.3.9 We reserve the right to refuse access to the secure Members-only pages. We shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from a Member/s inability to access any pages on the Website.
3.4. Data Protection
3.4.2 Members can use their e-mail address to create their own personal login and password details to enter the Members Area of the Website. Within this Members only area, Members shall have access to The Café and other Members-only areas of the Website as determined by Knightsbridge Village.
3.4.3 Members are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their Membership number, log in details and passwords, and for all activities that occur under their Membership number, login details and passwords, whether by themselves or anyone else using their login details and passwords.
3.4.4 Members are responsible for any activity on our website arising out of a failure to keep your password confidential and may be held liable for any losses arising out of such a failure. We may disable your user ID and password at any time in our sole discretion with or without notice or explanation.
3.5. Terminating Membership
3.5.1. Membership is for a fixed 12-month period which shall be automatically renewed at the end of each Membership Year, subject to clauses 3.5.3 and 3.5.4.
3.5.2. If a Member does not pay any Membership fee on its due date then Membership shall not be continued and such Membership shall expire 12 months following the date the Member became a member of Knightsbridge Village or the date such Member last renewed her Membership and the Member shall not have the benefit of Membership following such termination.
3.5.3 We reserve the right to expel Members at any time if the Member, in the discretion of Knightsbridge Village acting reasonably:
(a) damages the reputation of Knightsbridge Village
(b) brings Knightsbridge Village into disrepute;
(c) is misusing the Membership discussion forum or Website (eg using the discussion forum for unapproved commercial purposes).
3.5.4 If, for whatever reason, a Member wishes to terminate his or her Membership, he or she must provide written notice to Knightsbridge Village of at least one calendar month in duration before the Renewal Date by e-mailing email@example.com or in writing to Knightsbridge Village Limited, Kemp House, City Road, London EC1V 2NX.
3.5.5 Knightsbridge Village does not offer refunds if Membership is cancelled for whatever reason before the Renewal Date unless Knightsbridge Village receives notice of cancellation within 14 days of subscribing for Membership. An administration fee of £25 is applied for cancellations made during the 14-day cooling off period.
4. Accessing our site
We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our site without notice. We will not be liable to users, other than fully subscribed Members for any reason our site is unavailable at any time or for any period. If the service is unavailable for a period exceeding 24 hours Members may request a refund of subscription fees equivalent to the interrupted period pro rata.
5. Intellectual property rights
We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our site, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.
You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our site for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on our site.
You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.
Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our site must always be acknowledged.
You must not use any part of the materials on our site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.
6. Our site changes regularly
We aim to update our site regularly, and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend access to our site, or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on our site may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.
7. Viruses, hacking and other offences
You must not misuse our site by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our site, the server on which our site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our site. You must not attack our site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.
By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our site will cease immediately.
We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our site or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

Knightsbridge Village is a UK registered trade mark of Knightsbridge VillageLimited.
We may permit third parties to advertise goods and/or services on our website upon full payment of applicable fees. All advertising activitiy is limited only to a banner advertisment, a feature in our newsletter or a listing on the Concierge page. We reserve the right to determine the number of advertisements on our website and may decline applications to advertise.
Knightsbridge Village neither endorses nor recommends advertisers to Members. Members respond to advertisements at their own risk with no recourse to Knightsbridge Village.
Advertisers do not have rights to Membership of Knightsbridge Village.
Advertisers are not entitled to access to the Members Area of the website. We may, at our discretion, grant advertisers with current advertisments in the Cafe page of the website temporary access to the Members Area of the wesbiste so that they can view their advertisement in situ. Advertisers granted such privileges are not permitted under any circumstances to:
- post any comments whatsoever in the Cafe or participate in forum discussions;
- post any comments in our interactive Library that promotes their firm, goods or services; and/or
- contact Members through the private messaging system.
